After researching the availability and costs of Data Recovery and Computer Forensic services it was determined that there was a significant shortfall in this area. Combined with the high costs of having dedicated personnel and equipment, it was found to be unreasonable for most business, individuals and local law enforcement agencies to entertain the idea of providing these services in-house. Those companies and agencies that did enter into the foray of digital data recovery have found that the need far outweighs the resources available, and thus wait times to have services completed have become excessive.
Hidden Data Recovery Services (HDRS) is a brand new concept of readily
providing data recovery, forensic analysis and data destruction
services to not only businesses but also to local law enforcement
agencies. HDRS also provides data recovery and destruction services
at the consumer level, as well as a variety of highly customized
training opportunities in the areas of data recovery, forensic
analysis, and data destruction.
HDRS has been built from the ground up with the goal of providing the
aforementioned services in a timely manner, and at reasonable costs.
In an effort to meet this goal, HDRS was also created to allow for
future franchise opportunities, which will ultimately place
accessible data recovery centers in hundreds of cities across the

In 2007 CEO/Founder Michael Sheedy, finally realized his dream of combining his two areas of expertise and interest, Information Technology and Law Enforcement
Mr. Sheedy has enjoyed more than 15 years of experience in the Information Technology field (in the private, corporate and Government environments). He has extensive knowledge and is proficient in Project Management, Installation, configuration, administration and repair of Computer Hardware (PC and laptop)), Operating systems, Computer software, Networking hardware, software and protocols, Web Development including HTML, JAVA, ASP.Net, and XML, Databases including MS Access, SQL, and Informix, Applications Development and Programming including, Visual Basic, VB.NET, ASP.NET, MS Visual Studio, MS Access, VBA and Application conversion
In addition, Mr. Sheedy also has more than 8 years of experience in Law Enforcement including Patrol, Investigations, Evidence collection, Court Testimony, Public Relations and Forensics.
Mr. Sheedy has studied Computer Forensics at the college level, and has received training and/or certifications in both fields of interest. Some highlights being Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), State Evidence Technician (ET), State Certified Trainer, State Certified Field Straining Officer (FTO), Interviews and Interrogations, Project Management Fundamentals and Practices (PMP), CompTIA A+, Security+, Network+, MCTS, MCSE, and CCNA.
